Overview

"Britishpress" (hereafter referred to as "the Company," "our," or "we"), outlines the following terms and conditions. The terms "the Customer" or "Client" refer to customers or clients listed on the Distribution request form and/or Client Account application.

Material for Distribution

  1. The material dispatched should be single-sheeted unless otherwise agreed.
  2. It should be free from staples, pins, or attachments, weighing less than 400g per leaflet and ranging between A7 and A1 in size.
  3. Consistency in flyer size and weight is mandatory, with a single advertised business.
  4. Quotations for materials weighing 80 GSM per page are liable to changes based on subsequent assessment.

Supply and Packaging

  1. Bookings can be made verbally or in writing, by email, fax, or post.
  2. Deliver all promotional stocks to Britishpress, Millmead Business Centre, no later than 6:30 p.m. on the agreed date.
  3. Collections within London are free for orders where printing is arranged or the distribution value crosses £250.
  4. Delivery cartons or packages should not weigh more than 15kg, containing identical items.
  5. Proper labeling, including the customer's name and job number, is required for easy identification.
  6. Non-agreeable stock may be liable to additional charges or distribution schedule removal.
  7. Delays or errors in supply will result in the next-earliest possible distribution.

Distribution & Live Tracking

  1. Distribution completion may take up to a week from the campaign start date, adhering to the postcodes defined in the client's form.
  2. Inclement weather or force majeure situations might require adjustments in distribution method and timing.
  3. Distribution is carried out based on UK postcodes and sectors.
  4. GPS technology is utilized for secure and reliable delivery; however, data isn't shared.
  5. The company can't guarantee delivery to all addresses within a Location.

Distribution Enquiries

  1. Any delivery-related queries must be reported within 48 hours, and the company undertakes an investigation to satisfactory resolve the issues within 30 days.
  2. Identified shortfalls in distribution will be rectified, but no liability exceeding the contract value can be promised.
  3. It is the customer's responsibility to check the accuracy of the delivered material.
  4. Letterbox counts on our website are estimates and may vary significantly.

Cancellations & Changes

  1. The contract can be terminated by either party with a 30-day notice.
  2. A one-month notice is required for cancellation or alteration without penalty.
  3. Distributions may be halted in events of legal or financial insolvency.

Payments

  1. Full prepayment in cleared funds is required.
  2. No set-off is permitted, and dishonored payments will incur a charge of £35.
  3. Payments not made by the due date will attract a 20% surcharge.
  4. Legal or financial insolvency will cause due payment.

Content

  1. The client's material contents must adhere to the existing regulations and codes of practice.
  2. The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order.
  3. Content should not infringe any laws or regulations, or cause embarrassment or disrepute to the company.
  4. Advertisements for additional business or services must be pre-informed.

Complaints & Guarantees

  1. Complaints need to be reported as per the provided procedure within 48 hours after campaign completion.
  2. Not all letterboxes within a postcode sector, town, or area are guaranteed for delivery.
  3. Complaints should follow a determined protocol for complete investigation and resolution.

General Requirements

  1. These terms and conditions govern the contract fulfillment process.
  2. English Law applies to these terms, conditions, and agreements.
  3. The company's right to enforce or exercise any terms or rights remains in effect at all times.

Monitoring

Conversations may be recorded for internal and/or legal use.
